Choucroute Dinner and Demonstration

We will tackle a winter staple and French Brasserie classic - Choucroute Garnie.  We fell in love with this Alsatian stalwart the last time we visited Paris...and we have since made it part of our winter repertoire.  Chef Peter Menzies will explain the origins of the dish, and give you tips on how to assemble and source the ingredients for this magnificent crowdpleaser to sauerkraut, sausages, and smoked meats.

The epmhasis of the evening is on enjoying this classic and, since it's so simple to prepare, we'll be light on the instruction and heavy on the food and conversation.
